The World On Regent Street – 12th May 2013

The World On Regent Street was the perfect way to spend a May Sunday. It was great to see many different cultures come out and support their own and other cultures.

In the Trinidad and Tobago section Bacchanalia and Wassiville were displaying their amazing costumes. DJ Danny D had the crowd rocking in-between acts, the aroma of roti was in the air all day as was the sweet smell of rum.

I have to say I am very proud to be apart of the Caribbean Culture. The Trinidad and Tobago section was the busiest of all ‘worldly’ the sections throughout the day not even the rain could dampen our spirits. There was a truly great vibe which was helped by performances from 3 Canal, Nikisha, Scrappy, Konata and the Tropical Storm Band and many more. It was a great day indeed and I hope this will turn into a yearly event for us.
