Jumbie Easter Special Review – 6th April 2012

The big bad monthly event Jumbie continues on in fine style.

2 rooms of solid good music and vibes.

The Venue – Fire, London (Vauxhall Bridge). This was my first time in Fire and I have to say I like the venue. It suits the crowd, it has a good sound system and air conditioning.

The Music – This is one of the only events where you get to hear a wide range of soca music from old school to new school. DJ Tate and Martin Jay know exactly how to please the Jumbie crowd.

In room 2 Daddie Ernie was providing the best in reggae and dancehall.

The Vibe – With Jumbie you know you are going to hear the best music which always creates a nice vibe. People were standing in corners a bit but they were vibing with their own crew. All-in-all the vibes were pleasant.
