Soca Fete – Soca vs Dancehall: Da Dance Off

The dance off consisted of 7 crews and the first round was basically showcase yourself to your own tracks. The top six went through with one crew being eliminated. The second round was a head to head, two crews battle it out at a time, each crew having two tracks. The winner going through to a three crew final.

The final consisted of the top three crews battling it out to the DJ’s choice of soca and dancehall music to be the overall winner. Money Wheel crew where victorious on the night, a big shout out to them and all dancers involved, some seriously talented individuals and to the prestige judges who had some difficult decisions on the night.

Overall it was a successful event. The vibes inside were pleasant, pure positivity. Everyone came out to enjoy themselves. The DJ’s on the night played a variety of tunes something for everyone.

A lot of hard work and preparation went into this event to make it as successful as it was. I would like to shout out to everyone involved and I look forward to part two, it’s definitely going to be a big one.
