UCOM Band Launch Review – 28th April 2012

United Colours Of Mas launched tonight in full effect.

Before we go any further let me just say that due to it being Super Soca Saturday we didn’t have a lot of time to spend at the launch. We had to also cover 2 more events on the same night.

BUT…while we were there, this is our review.

UCOM, your costume designs are amazing. In league with the worlds best.

Venue: Abbey – London. A well lit reception room with costumes on display and a spacious lower level with a catwalk for the masqueraders.

Vibe: The costumes were well received and the feedback heard was all positive. The models we cheered and given full support throughout. After the show the tempo stepped up and the crowd began to have a ‘time’.

Crowd: Fetters came out to see what UCOM had to offer and they weren’t disappointed. This event sold out its tickets before the night. Not even the constant raining (gotta love the British weather) could stop people from coming to see one of the most anticipated band launches of the year so far.

All-In-All: It was a great band launch. UCOM has raised the bar for 2012 and beyond. I predict a bright future for the band and the team.
