Socavision – Who To Look Out For On The Soca Scene
Socavision Is The Future Of Caribbean Musical Entertainment.
It is currently a very young internet TV station that is broadcasted via the very viral and popular YouTube network.
It was created by father and daughter team Martin Jay of ChoiceFM (a London based radio station) and Miss Rochelle B who completed her degree in media. Together their aim is to bring quality internet- based TV programmes highlighting and showcasing the talents of people within the Caribbean music diaspora.
Whilst in it’s infant stages (9 mths) as a media production company, Martin Jay has been a household name in both the Caribbean and UK community for over 20 years due to his very popular 2 hour weekly Caribbean Music radio show ‘Caribbean Affair’ on ChoiceFM.
It is the company’s aim and vision, to fill a void that exisits, in which there is very little or no media programming on TV, cable or terrestrial channels showcasing Caribbean music and culture positively.
Socavision has been positively accepted and appreciated by many people that have visited our YouTube Socavision channel. Socavision.com’s viewer hits, continue to grow on a daily basis and to date has amassed almost 13,000 views of the many videos uploaded at present.
