Move Review – 28th April 2012

In-conjunction with Carnival Fever (Berlin). This was the UK launch for Berlin Carnival 2012.

Before we go any further let me just say that due to it being Super Soca Saturday we didn’t have a lot of time to spend at the launch. We had to also cover 2 more events on the same night.

Being able to have a band launch for another countries carnival should say it all really. DJ Tate and your team we salute you for all the hard work you have put in to making Berlin carnival a reality for a lot more of us.

People struggle with band launches for their own national band. So being able to successfully launch a German mas band in the UK is a great achievement.

Venue: The Euphorium is rapidly becoming the most used venue for soca events. (They still need to sort out their lighting though).

Vibe: When you have a such a great line up of DJs a great vibe is pretty much guaranteed. As we arrived the Euphorium was buzzing with an awesome atmosphere.

Crowd: They were ready for it and they were up for it. Always a good thing to have in a fete.

All-In-All: The route to Berlin has been laid out. The pace for Berlin carnival has been set. Its all go from here.
