The UK soca scene is awash with talent and whilst on this occasion the platform has been given to four of the best UK Soca artistes including a duo, it is befitting that we here at UKSS show some love to the UK winners, whilst not forgetting the international massive who scooped awards at the ceremony as well and those that continue to work hard and contribute endlessly to the scene.

 

So, first of all, big CONGRATULATIONS to the recent UK recipients of the Soca Music Awards:

• QT 2 Hype of BANG FM Radio 103.6FM for scooping two awards in the category, Best UK Soca Party DJ and Best UK Soca Radio Presenter,

 

• Ogeed, Triniboi Joocie for Best UK Soca Track and a well deserved Best UK Soca Music Video,

 

• Dem Frenzy Boyz aka Soca Frenzy for Favourite Soca Fete/Party and Best Online Soca Radio Station,

 

• The sassy sister duo, Muzik Lil Muzik for Best UK Group,

 

• Brown Sugar for retaining a piece of musical history and walking away with Best UK Calypsonian,

 

• Soca Child 360 for dropping those beats and taking the Best UK Soca Producer,

 

• The UK soca princess flying on board the British Airways musical system for scooping Best UK Female Soca Artist Ms Desire and

 

• The long outstanding artiste behind the band with the sweetest sounds, Scrappy for Best UK Male Soca Artist.
