Carnival is slowly creeping up on us again. Although for most it cannot come quick enough. For those who can’t wait, there are a few events to tickle your taste buds.

Soca Frenzy: 5th Birthday Fete – Fri 14th June 2013
At 2am the queue to get in to an already packed venue was still long and thick. This is how far Soca Frenzy has come in 5 years.
We salute the Soca Frenzy team for their hard, consistent work which is driven by passion and a love of their culture and heritage. Soca Frenzy is fast becoming a recognised brand on the global soca scene. Here’s to 5+ more years.

Busspepper: Summer Opening – Sat 15th June 2013
What a great way to kick off the UK summer (which I am told is just around the corner). Busspepper put on an all-inclusive lime/fete which had the perfect mixture of music, drink and people, resulting in plenty vibes.
The venue was swanky and suited the event perfectly. The drinks were premium (1919, Johnny Walker, Grey Goose etc) and in abundance. The music provided by DJ Markee, Shep Beats and D’Rascal was spot on. This event was worth the money (£40 ticket) as everyone had a great time.
