The Hype Soca Brand with a Touch… Soca Frenzy Interview

One of London’s Top Premier and Unique Soca Party Organisers and Best Radio Station!

Nadia Batson, the sassy Trinidadian artist is on their speed dial. Having exposed the draw they have on the scene, Tim Westwood, the former BBC Radio One Hip Hop Ambassador was drawn to their fete earlier this year. The island of Montserrat in preparation for its 50th big celebrations is impatiently waiting for their arrival, the Americans have taken a liking to them and the die hard UK soca fetters from afar and local support and love the experience they bring.

With an armful of awards already scooped in various categories, boasting a resident DJ list of notable award winning names and housing one of London’s sought after producers, Soca Frenzy is London’s most innovative soca event organiser and promoter, well known for throwing the best and hype fuelled sold out events London has seen in the last four years, in addition offering bespoke and tailored celebration bookings and setting the trend with different unique themed monthly events. Through some of their monthly events, they have entertained us with an impressive list of local and international artists such as Scrappy, Lavaman, Claudette Peters, Triniboi Joocie, Skinny Fabolous and Lil Rick to name a few and on a few occassions more than satisfied our musical appetites with Tropical Storm an impressive live band. Not content with just promoting, they have a Radio station recently awarded the Best Online Soca Radio Station and boast not just two 2012 Best Radio/Party DJ awards from Shaker HD and DJ Tate, but Best UK Soca Producer from Soca Child.

Having recently celebrated their 4th anniversary this summer gone past, Soca Frenzy’s main aim is to bring Soca to the world and continue to be heavily involved in the soca community often giving up and coming artists and DJs, a platform to showcase their talent. Through their app, iTunes, individual DJ podcasts amongst a few mediums they continue to push soca music in a positive light to the mass audience.

Undeniably they have and continue to leave a footprint on the soca scene and with 2013 promising big things, UKSS recently caught up with the multi-talented faces behind the well-known brand, Soca Frenzy.
