Natia Daniel Interview 2014

Natia Daniel Interview 2014

Natia DanielNatia Daniel was able to kindly take time out of her busy schedule, to catch up with the UK Soca Scene team to give us brief interview and information about her new track  ‘I Don’t Mind’.

Since ‘No Matter De Temperature’ (2013 2nd place UK Soca Monarch and road march) Natia has been working overtime writing and producing track after track.

Her 1st groovy soca track of the year entitled ‘I Don’t Mind’ is due to be released today (19/03/2014), which is also her birthday. You can get a copy of this track on iTunes or through various mailing lists.

Natia was able to give me a bit of back ground information about her track and what influenced her to write this song.

“I don’t mind came from the idea of when a person comes up to you and asks for a dance and you don’t mind having a dance partner for a few songs or for the night. Sometimes your in that mood where you would like to share your enjoyment with someone.”

I can personally relate to this tune and situation and I know many others will be able to, which automatically gives you that connection to the song.

Natia is currently working towards an EP, aimed to be released at the end of the year. She is doing non stop hard work, so watch this space.

Final words from Natia: “This year is about a different side to me that people aren’t familiar with so I hope they enjoy it. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continuous support throughout, much appreciation and love. No matter de temperature we feting in cold weather (singing).”
